Yet another VPN Q...

Hi all

I never had to search so much on the net as i did to set up a simple VPN connection remotely in win xp.

It looks so easy yet when it come down right to it i am not sure if its me, my marconi router from my fav place (Telecum) or the whole setup of the dyndns.org ip.

Has anyone got a A-Z setup for this process. iwould much appreciate it.
Searched high and low. and it becoming more and more fustration by the day.

WOW!!! glad to get that off my chest.

specs:
Winxp pro sp2
Marconi router
axxess account
dyndns setup
dyndns updater installed (not sure if setup correctly?!?)
network connections:
Incoming connection (allow one user)
Client side vpn connection.

Error - "error:800" cannot connect... blah blah

Please could someone assist. one i have the info and it works will create a web site to show exactly how its done.

I do not like DDNS.... The configuration is a nightmare . Try looking at an app called Hamachi. www.hamachi.cc

I will try the proggy see if that help...

Were you able to setup a VPN connection with the info above? are there any setting, tools, ideas i am missing?
