Get the sniper upgrade if you're going to be sniping a lot, otherwise consider which weapon you will use more. One shot kills using the M95 sr are not easy. Usually two shots to the body will do the trick. The AT upgrade is excellent for close quarter work, very heavy damage. You will die because you chose the wrong moment to reload or because you weren't close enough when the fight began. DOA12 reloads shell by shell. Once you start you can't stop quickly to defend yourself and then carry on loading. So either you reload after every encounter or you almost empty the weapon and then run away and hide while reloading.

I've got the DOA12, it's awesome, but what's the SF upgrade after that? I'll probably take the sniper upgrade.

The wifes got to go to a friends tonight, so hopefully I finally hit the upgrade tonight!
 
I have the DAO but also think that I am perhaps using it in the wrong situations.

So far I unlocked the g36 and the DAO12 - but looking at the next unlock, it is a very difficult choice....

The DAO is great for up close and personal, and the g36 can handle a medium to long range a bit better....

Does this leave me choosing a sniper upgrade so that there is an unlock for all ranges of combat, or is it a case of unlocking the basics (assault g3 and mediac l85 whateva) before going on to get the others?

Questions, questions....

Oh, by the way, when can you unlock the gold spinners and purple dashboard fur for the Vodnik? and when do the low profiles and NOS come into it. Is this a cross-game patch between Most Wanted and BF2 ?

If you like playing assault the G3 is kickass, probably the one I use most (before I got the f2000). 2/3 rounds will drop anyone. The G36 doubles as a 'mini sniper' rifle. It's accurate as all hell and has very little recoil. I've taken snipers off the crane on Sharqi with it. The scope just isn't so great.

I just got the m92, and besides taking out chopper pilots, I'm not that impressed.

Hmmm you got the M92 and everyone else got the M95 ... I wonder what you did wrong. :D

Wouldn't fly any otherway, I find it really easy to fly with the mouse, both plan and heli, I've got a logitech "Freedom 2.4" and I suck with it

At the mo I am trying to get my snipers badge - what a friggin mission..... USMC sniper rifle seems a bit weak compared with the other from MEC & China... or is it just me.

The M24 (USMC standard sniper rifle) is the most powerful sniper rifle, even moreso than the M95, the M95 just has cockpit peircing bullets, which will account for the odd increased damage ratings.
