Its because racism and racist basically mean anti-white.

Its a ploy to break down white culture and white esteem.

I'm not interested in defending people who racialise confrontations. What does concern me is generalising about a group of people over a handful of incidents.

Calling someone a black bitch, I would assume that there is a racial aspect to saying that.

I noticed that, but wasn't going to say anything.

There's been a flurry of these "white racism" articles lately. Every single one of them has been similar, and all of them only slightly above Youtube comments in terms of intellectual value/input. Opinionated amateurs who are, at best, first-year-varsity-journalism quality.
 
Black on white violence. Criminal activity.
White on black violence. Racism.

Who's the racist now?

What if there was a white and a black woman and you only want to insult one of them is saying white/black bitch OK then?
 
so the white children of today need to grow up feeling guilty for something they didn't do and must kiss ass to the black children because of something they didn't go through? give me a break.

there will always be idiots, i don't see any articles reporting on black people calling white people names - are we to believe this never happens? hopefully the white youth will stand up and appose this nonsense that they should feel like bad people for nothing.

That's a bit melodramatic but, talk of privilege and other generalisations certainly do have a dehumanizing effect. Nothing good can come of it.
 
This country is so pathetic! As with every race related article, I thought us white people would have learnt by now. Any verbal argument with any other race is racist!

As always, I'd like to hear all sides of this story. My immediate assumption is that this woman has a chip on her shoulder.

Not defending this, but being clueless about it, means you didn't try to use the black as anything. So he can't use it deliberately as part of an insult. So he was just saying she is black because she is black? If they weren't so clueless it might have been racist?
I have been called a white biatch many times. By all races. Its not racist. I was probably just being a biatch. And I'm white.


But that is my opinion. Some people are maybe a bit more sensitive?
 
I like how their " number of recent attacks" is 4 incidents. Also I wouldn't call 2001 recent.

Can we have the the other few thousand cases of non white on black violence since 2001 to compare?

That is a good point. In my experience, black people are very quick to play the race card in a verbal altercation so I'm curious as to what she said as well.

If she brought up race first and used it to insult or attempt to intimidate the white person first, then it's very human to respond in kind.

Ja, I hesitate to ascribe it to some sort of conspiracy. I think labeling whites is just a safe way of "discussing" race and getting some attention. I also notice that a lot of the privilege non - debate is coming from privileged whites or, at least, non - blacks. Either way it's a form of dehumanisation.

And there we go and we stop mingling with all races because lord knows someone might feel but hurt about something not racial at all.

Nobody moAned about the guy being sexist... Yes reaching but that is how far it is reaching when calling someone black is racist.
 
They only reason to keep bitching and complaining about someone hurting your feelings, is because you love them enough to care.

So basically the article says "all you young whites should stop generalising about blacks"? That's just so hilariously hypocritical, I can't take the article seriously, whether it has valid elements or not. Ms Joseph is just stirring, and not even with any degree of journalistic finesse.
