Your advice on restaurants

Why take the high road when I can moan about it? You must be as new to the internet as you are to the travel industry.
T'is true. You are clearly an expert on the WWW. Look at your post count. Wow! So impressive.

Don't forget to greet your parents when you go up from the basement to grab another bag of Cheetos.

Glad you recognise the epeen when it is sizeable.

Also, I take offence to the stereotype. I'll have you know that I'm married, and my wifes boyfriend supplies the cheetos when my internet points are sufficiently high.

Not sure if it's considered upmarket, but I used to go eat at Da Graziella in Edenvale when I was in Jhb for work. Really enjoyed the food and ambiance

yeah, perhaps define what you classify as fine dining ?
i'm fairly certain that your definition differs from the next fellow, include an estimate of what you are willing to spend on a meal per person? in cape town that tends to start at around r1k p/p but varies when adding wine pairing etc

If I visit an expensive restaurant, I notice that when I come out of there, I'm still hungry. Lol. So I go to the nearest store and buy something sweet, like a chocolate bar or ice cream. I'm a big fan of Japanese food, so I often order food from Japanese restaurants and then I don't have to buy a chocolate bar for dessert. Lol. Instead of an expensive restaurant, I'd rather go to some of my favorite bars like Hideout Kava Bar Clematis St . My friends and I sometimes go there on Fridays and it's a lot more fun than going to some restaurant and spending like $200 for dinner.
Thanks Holly, for the wonderful recommendation!

How long will it take to drive from Kempton Park to West Palm Beach?

Only 18 hours if you have a PJ.

PJ? Plow job?

F*** yes. I once had to fire a client, so asked him to meet at a Spur. He pitched, ordered a whiskey, I told him unless he pays his outstanding balance, he won't be getting his site. Man was blood red, furious that I humiliated him in the middle of a Spur.

He then asked me why I would pick "this" place to invite a client, and if I knew that word of mouth will get me further than money.

My, answer to him was, I invited him to Spur cause that's where I thought he would be most comfortable.

Got up and walked out, telling the waiter, he'll pay.

He sent me the bill from Spur, I sent him back the bill for a marketing site (minus the Spur bill)

Eastgate. There's a Milky Lane next to the Steers. So you do burgers and then the cone with the flake, chocolate, and nuts. It's very expensive though. If I remember correctly, it's almost R30 for that cone.

Booking made at the Milky Lane. Much appreciated.

How did this go? I was there for brekkie and thought of you.

It's now R40 for the fancy cone.
