Recraft is pretty good at doing text. Not perfect, but better than Flux, which in turn has been better than everything else.

and asked it the same question.ChatGPT isn't too reliable with this sort of thing. I've been making AI-assisted images sufficiently realistic looking for years, to the point where the Chat GPT and other AI detector tools are positive that they can't possibly be AI generated.I put these two pictures through ChatGPT to see if it can pick up if it's AI generated.
This is a picture I downloaded from the internet:

I then edited it a little using Galaxy AI and enhanced it a bit:

I then put it through ChatGPT:
Alright, I’ll examine each of the key areas mentioned to analyze this image's authenticity:
1. Eyes and Facial Features:
Both women have well-defined and aligned facial features. The woman on the right, in particular, has a raised eyebrow and expressive eyes, which appear natural and well-proportioned.
AI-generated images sometimes produce slightly distorted or misaligned features, but in this case, both women's facial features look anatomically accurate.
2. Hands and Fingers:
The woman on the right has one hand visible, holding a coffee cup. Her fingers appear normal, with a natural grip around the cup.
AI often struggles with hands, creating extra fingers or unnatural poses, but here, the hand anatomy looks correct. There are no visible issues with finger count or position.
3. Background and Blurred Effects:
The background contains bokeh effects (blurred lights), typical of a real camera’s depth-of-field effect.
AI-generated images sometimes have uneven blurring or unnatural transitions, but the background blur in this image appears smooth and consistent. The lighting also feels realistic.
4. Texture and Detailing:
The textures on both women’s hair and skin seem natural, with fine details like flyaway hair strands. AI often produces overly smooth textures, but here, the hair and skin textures look lifelike, with natural light reflections and no visible blurring or distortion.
5. Lighting and Shadows:
The lighting is consistent on both women, coming from the left side of the frame, creating soft shadows on the right side of their faces.
Both their faces and the background elements are lit in a way that feels natural, and there are no odd or mismatched shadow patterns.
Final Analysis:
Based on these observations, there are no clear signs of AI generation. The detailing, natural textures, correct anatomy, and consistent lighting all suggest this image is likely real, or if it’s AI-generated, it is of extremely high quality and would have been created with advanced tools to avoid common artifacts.
Given these factors, I’d lean towards this being a real photograph. However, it’s always challenging to be 100% certain without metadata or a deeper analysis, as AI tools can now achieve remarkably realistic results.

This is a beautiful image, with warm lighting, soft shadows, and fine details, especially in the hair. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements that could help determine if it’s real or AI-enhanced:
1. Lighting and Shadows:
The sunlight is hitting the woman’s hair in a very natural way, creating a glowing effect that’s common in late afternoon or sunset lighting.
Shadows and lighting are consistent on her face, arm, and the surface she’s sitting on. AI sometimes struggles to match lighting direction and shadow strength, but here, it looks realistic.
2. Hair Texture:
The hair looks highly detailed, with individual strands visible and a natural flow down her shoulder and back. AI can sometimes blur or clump hair in unnatural ways, but this level of detail and realism in the hair suggests either a real photo or high-quality AI generation.
3. Background and Water Reflection:
The water behind her has a natural, shimmering quality, with the light reflecting in a way that seems consistent with the sunlight direction.
AI may sometimes produce water with a uniform or artificial look, but here the ripples and lighting reflections look authentic.
4. Pose and Anatomy:
Her pose, hand positions, and body proportions look natural. AI-generated images sometimes struggle with body proportions or hand/finger positions, but here, everything appears well-aligned and realistic.
Final Analysis:
This image is very convincing, with all elements appearing realistic. If it was AI-generated or edited, it’s done to an impressive level of detail, especially in the handling of lighting and textures. However, it’s likely a real photograph, or at least a very high-quality AI-assisted edit.
