Your beer buying habits?

So when I go to various braai's and parties ect. I notice my buddies never seem to bring the same beer with each time. This got me thinking. I for one always buy the same beer i.e. either Windhoek or Heineken and always only in glass bottles. Now and again I might get Amstel, Grolsch or Millers.

So how do you buy your beer?
You buy whatever is on special at the time or only your favourite and if they don't have it do you go to another bottle store to find it?
Also, glass or cans?

I was agreeing with you until those 2 choices.

Mine is almost always windhoek or the windhoek draught (both always in bottles)
canned beer sucks.
Quartz are an option, but only if I am really in the mood or feeling particularly juvenile..

Mainly Black Label or Hansa. Always bottles.

If a new beer comes out I always give it a try and if I like it I'll buy more (I'm looking at you Castle Draught).

Beer out of a tin just doesn't taste right

I stick to Amstel, or Hunters Dry if I'm in the mood for something sweeter. Hunters seems to mess up my throat though.
