I'm making sushi tonight and I'm looking for some new ideas.

The ones I often make are:

Salmon, avo, yellow pepper with a bit of either tabasco, sweet chili, or soy sauce.

Tuna with spring onion cream cheese with sweet chili sauce, if I make it inside out I sometimes put thin strips of salmon over the top.

Salmon, Red pepper, carrot, tabasco.

Prawn or crab, haloumi and sweet chili sauce

Then, I also make a few non fish ones:

Ham and cheese (gouda, blue cheese or cream cheese)
Salami and cheese
parma ham, sweet chilli sauce and spring onion.
Chicken mayo

What is your best sushi? The only ingredient I cannot use is cucumber. The stuff does me foul.

To be completely honest I don't go in for all those combinations of fish and vegies or weird fish alternatives. I like to keep it simple with a really good quality sashimi or Ngiri. I usually just have sashimi with little rice balls on the side. and a good dollop of wasabi and low sodium soy sauce

Going for all you can eat sushi tonight... the best is bacon and avo sushi !

I also love sashimi and nigiri the most but sushi can be so creative though.

Rainbow Sushi - Norwood.

I agree that the concept of bacon or chicken sushi might seem sacrilegious but its tastes great.
I still enjoy the real thing as well.
