Johannesburg - A 37-year-old woman found guilty of crimen injuria and assault was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment by Rustenburg Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Boniwe Andonisi called a prostitute, known only as Cecilia, and said her breasts were as big as watermelons.

Her sentence of 12 months was suspended for three years.

Andonisi, a mother of six, from Marikana near Rustenburg also beat Cecilia up.

Is that not the same as stating the obvious, if the spade is a spade, call it a spade?

I wonder for what the 12 months were awarded, the "insult" or the assault?

Seriously, I have met girls who made me say wow, now they can sue me for that even if the reference was just to her eyes? Green eyes can make a guy say that. I have walked past guys and loudly asked if a bird shat in his hair, because it looked that way. Am sure people don't like my hair either, since I just let it be after washing it, but I'm not going to sue someone for not liking my hairstyle.

thats nothing
i dont know if you saw the citizen a few weeks ago talking about that judge who was in trouble of drunk driving, anyhow the headline went something along the lines of "DRINK DRIVER IN THE...." i thought maybe it was a typo but then went ahead and read the caption to the picture and it said something along the lines of "Judge xxx in trouble for drink driving"

Those arent the exact words as it was a few weeks ago and I cant remember the full sentence but I do remember the words "drink driving" :P
 
nevermind after googling "drink driving" I thought only a reference to the citizen would come up, there seems to be nothing wrong with the way the citizen phrased it
 
saw this article on news24.. but couldn't figure it out at all, except huge boobs and some one going to jail.

thats the 3 main points of the article. 1 and 2 the huge boobs and 3 jail.
 
So does this ruling mean u must report if u get knocked out by one ;) or two
 
Is stating the obvious also a crime, or stating the obvious and committing assault?
