Here are some more cars, some of them you might recognize, but who can guess the other cars?

Let's see some more hyper cars people! Not super cars, hyper cars!

The Hennessey Venom GT isn't really a hyper car, but it sure looks like an amazing car!

How is it not a hypercar? What's your criteria for a hypercar?

1.2 tons, 1200 BHP, 267 MPH top speed, and it beats the Veyron by almost 10 seconds to 200 MPH. How is that not a hypercar?

I'm with etwylite on this one... If you have the money to spend on a multi million Rand car, chances are the most you'll end up doing in it is cruising some boulevard going: "Hey baby, wanna come for a ride in my love machine". That being the case, I'd make mine the Aston Martin One-77. ÂŁ1,200,000.00, 560kw, 7,3 liter, V12... perfect.

However...

If it were just about driving and I was in the market for a car that offered the purest driving experience, a car to scare the colour out of my face and make the hair on the back of my neck stand up... A car that would make all the Veyrons, Zondas and Koenigseggs feel pedestrian, enigma243 has it... The Caparo T1.
I race single seater, open wheel cars and nothing you will ever drive... nothing... even comes close.

Well I read more about this car now, but even though it is an insanely awesome car it's still not a hyper car.

The criteria for a hyper car is this:
*Very high top speed
*Extreme acceleration
*High Quality Build
*Very exclusive (In some cases only 15 cars are built)

I think the most important is how exclusive such a car is.

The Caparo T1 is just madness, who wants to heat up their tires for an hour before you even go on the road every day? With cold tires you won't be staying on the road for long. And also it's built for pure racing... there's really no other reason that car exists. It's built for the public that would like to own some sort a F1 car. It's also not that good looking (to me) and it just scares the crap out of me.

Pretty much my point... For me the whole point of super or hyper cars IS driving. Take it out on a track day, wring its neck for an hour or so, have a grin on your face for a week... The way I see it, 1000 bhp on the road is lunacy. There really is nowhere you can drive it hard. I know this thread is not about the practicalities of hyper car ownership... I'm just saying, I'd have the one that, as you put it, was "built for pure racing"

I know this doesn't meet the (very specific) criteria outlined by the OP, but it's still a damn awesome, rare and exotic machine.

BCO tell us more about this machine! If we start going into larger vehicles there are so many out there it'll have to be a new thread.

So give us the specs and story behind this unimog style truck...

EDIT

Found the details!

2011 model:

Well this one is the bigger model (I like it more) The Mercedes Unimog U5000...
