So, I was watching a whole lot of music video's late last night and wondering all the while what my favorite one was.
This may seem like "premature -posting" but I am totally undecided !

Was wondering what were / are the favorites of the folks around these parts.

Literally dozens of favorites on this topic, but i notice myself going from certain one's being 'highlighted' every odd 2 weeks or so. The flavor of this week :

Bastille - Pompeii

Videos with some strong 'between the lines' messages :

Porter Robinson - Language
Ellie Goulding - Figure 8

You've managed to seriously stump me now. When you start thinking about it, there are so many bands out there who employ movie directors to make, well, short films.

30 Seconds to mars, tool, Sigur Ros, they all have brilliant videos. Nailing it down to one?

Marilyn Manson-Man That You Fear. His message in it really gets me. In a good way :)

So many to choose

Hot Chip - I feel better
Metallica - The day that never comes
Daft Punk - Around the World
Basement Jaxx - Where's your head at
Michael Jackson - Thriller

Favourite video the only criteria?
Moby - Natural Blues (the version where he is old and Christina Ricci comes for him).

Special mention to Benni Benasi - Satisfaction

Way too much of a list to think through but 2 that stand out to me as "Wow, that's a cool video" videos are both by NiN -

Perfect Drug
Closer

Awesome imagery that just stays with me.

Also can't say this enough.. click here, fill in the details, let it load and wonder at the awesomeness. Do it. Do it now!

hmmm..the more I'm looking at this thread the more I'm thinking OP needs to specify what we're looking at here. The vid or the music?

As far as I can tell the two rarely align. e.g. There are vids where the choreography is excellent but the music...oh god. Not that I know much about choreography, but you get the point. And of course vice versa.
