Your first Car

My first car was a 1995 Jetta III CSX 1.8 with 190,000 km on the clock.
Sold it with 264,000. Never broke down once. Had one accident in it. The Audi came off second best.

Mine was a 1979 Alfetta 2L. Greatest car I ever had. revved like a 2stroke bike. Why did I sell it, why why why. It was the start of alfisti for me. Justa pity i cannot afford the alfas of today.

Will give an arm and a leg for a good 1984 2l GTV:)

you always do get a "lil" attached to your 1st ... be it your car, a girl, a house etc :) ... but like everything else in life you will move on ...

Drove my moms old '89 Microbus 2.1i for a couple of months... it broke down and cried all the time like a true VW. Then got a 1.6i bantam for my 19th birthday and loved it!

My third car is the one I do not think I will ever let go easily because it has lots of attitude and 158,500km of trouble free motoring on the clock. Paragraph 4 on page 5 of the owners manual even reads "Thou shalt hate VW and defeat VAGs at every possible occasion" :p

VW Golf VR6....... *sigh*
Those were the days... There's nothing like your first set of wheels.

1990 Citi Golf. One of those light blue ones with the white stripes at the bottom on the sides. It gave me so much ****...

I got upgraded to a Volvo S40 T5 so couldn't care less about that piece of **** Golf. Plus it was originally my sister's car which just made it worse

My 1st car was a '88 Ford Meteor 1300. It had 180 000km on the clock and was so rusted that one of the bolts that held the engine onto the chassis broke - engine almost fell out the bottom of the car.

Good times I tell ya ;)

My first car was a 98 Chico 1600. Got written off. It apparently couldn't go onto 2 wheels on a bend at 160km/h like the Golf II could in the ad.

toyota 1.3 conquest 380 on d clock still going strong. toyota never lets you down

I had a 1990 Mazda 1.3l, drove it for 100 000km - neva gave me one seconds trouble. Traded it in on and Astra 200i in 1998. Man I loved the Astra's power and handeling - but sold it after two yrs, had so much cr@p with its electrical system from day 1 (yes it was a brand new vehicle). Sold it and bought a Mazda Rustler 1.3 (now that I loved, simple no frills, no thrills)... Sold that too ... now my wife drives the good car, and I drive her old Nissan Sentra 160i (which hauls A$$ for an old 1600!!)
