Your go-to browser extensions?

I know CSS Scan v2.0 is highly rated, but how does it compare to the competition. I used ToyBox Inspect in its early days and though I liked it I switched to Hoverify which was at the time an LTD deal, and it has served me well since. I know of CSS Inspector which is a rip-off from CSS Scan, but is unsupported for obvious reasons. What I want to know is how CSS Scan v2.0 compare to Hoverify, just more simplistic? I have checked the demo on their website, and it does seem to be a simplistic tool which gets its job done.

ToyBox and CSS Scan Pro v2.0 are more comparable due to its focussed niche, but I just want to know if you have used Hoverify and how it compares to CSS Scan v2.0 from a production point of view?
Hoverify is the best such extension I'm aware of, but it doesn't support Safari as CSS Scan does. Hoverify also has a colour picker, BuiltWith analysis, shows hosting info (a feature added at my request), lists images from the web page for quick download etc.

I like how CSS Scan can look up sources. I am asking because I want to know whether it will be worth the $55 it is going at now?

It's absolutely worth the asking price. Even with Hoverify installed in Chrome and Firefox, I still use CSS Scan a fair bit. I like the one-click access to CSS scanning compared to the more fiddly process of Hoverify.

CSS Scan is almost always on sale btw.

Best thing about this thread is the discovery of Bitwarden

I just started using Raindrop.io in an attempt to have my bookmarks in one place as I use different browsers. Been okay so far but wondering if anyone knows of other extensions that do this?

Simple select and search is my favourite. Select, right click and search the selection on any number of sites. Invaluable.
