Your input on which phone please

If you have seen my other thread you would know that I am really keen to get an android phone well I found 2 options, but now I can't decide:

both for R135pm

LG p500 (Optimus One) with 120 off peak minutes PM and 30 mb data PM

or

HTC Wildfire with 20 SMS PM

what do you people think? :)
 
HTC. My girlfriend has one. Great phone, very customizable ito installing other roms (Froyo based), among other things.

N8 isn't bad but.. It's symbian therefore outdated. Personally, the only thing good about the N8 is the camera.

The Optimus one deal sounds better. Not sure which is the better phone, both are very good phones from what I've heard.
The 30MB data is handy, Android phones really benefit from internet access.
 
Just be aware that both are decidedly entry-level looking at the current crop of Android phones. On spec alone I'd be inclined to go for the LG as it has a higher resolution display & a slightly faster processor. That being said LG haven't exactly ever covered themselves in glory when it comes to the general quality of their mobiles, whereas HTC's current range is top-notch in that respect...

Tough one if that's all the budget allows.

thanks guys, I'll go for the HTC then, got another contract where I get R50 airtime a month so no problem :)

Enjoy! You made the right choice. I got my Desire about 4 months ago, and still reckon its the best phone I ever had. imo the lg still has to prove itself. HTC has done that long time ago.
