It has more content, and love from devs.
Lots to grind for, legacy content with guaranteed rewards at master level, or rng at lower tiers, they added companions that you can level up, give basic commands to so you can attempt more difficult content solo etc. PVP still populated, if thats your thing.
For a game in its 7th year I still catch myself admiring the world detail.
There is more coming this year, with 'Survivor' mode most anticipated.
Hoping for a confirmed Division 3 announcement this year.
