I do pug raidleads on Argoloth, and we win. classruns ftw trying to get into a raidguild now though, cos dailies n questing n stuff is getting dull. actually, Im cata loremaster already, so its only dailies.

Downed BH10 + Magmaw 10 - Progress has been slow due to raid groups shuffling (Yes I'm in a Full SA guild...and actually in Spawn-X's raid group )

Working on Omitron Defense Council (raiding currently on hold due to lack of healers)

- What your thoughts are in general about Cata Raiding

Best raiding content so far: more challenging more fun less trash

- What is your fav boss(es) and why

Haven't experienced enough to say yet

- Any special tips, tricks you might have run into that can help others.

If your dps is lower than the rest; read up more about your class, accept constructive criticism, and get your rotation/priority lists down perfectly. A certain *cough* orc hunter on this forum taught me that in the beginning of tbc and I've been awesome ever since

11/12 (SA only 10 man guild)

I'm really enjoying the content so far. Its pretty challenging & innovative compared to the first tier stuff in WOTLK. Favourite fight so far is probably Al'akir or Atramedes though Nef is teaching us a few lessons atm Least favourite fight so far would be Halfus + Slate Dragon + Nether (+attack speed) dragon + Stormdrake - but we'll see how heroic Halfus goes soon enough.

I've only raided on my resto druid so far but I've always enjoyed this toon and still enjoying it.

Can't believe your fav is Al'akir. I see it as a cancer boss
Atramedes is defo a fun idea but the fight I was looking forward to most @ the start was Ascendant Council. It had allot of promise, but turned out to be pretty easy. Looking forward seeing it on HC.
Heroic Halfus can get quite hectic as there is allot going on, but once you get the hang of it it's fun. No idea how it is on 10 man, only done it 25 man
I remember doing tries on Nef on 10 man and the adds was really annoying. Nef 25 I find pretty easy thou. Really not all that much going on except for a little intense period for healing.

In general I luv Cata raiding. 5 Man dungeons I hate thou, have'nt been in one in ages

We are currently at 11/12 in 10m and 9/12 in 25m.
Got a slow start on our 25m raids due to multiple people randomly stopping to play.

We are currently working on Nef and Wyrmbreaker HC, with Chimareon HC in sights after Nef is down.
(P.S. I am the only SA person in the guild)

So far I am enjoying Cata Raiding. A couple of things have been made simpler (Cauldrons, Fortune Cookies and buffs) while other things are a tad harder (read interesting and fun).
The mechanics of the encounters are fun and don't seem like they will be boring too quickly.
But heroic 5m's are already boring me....

I personally love the Chimareon encounter. Since I am a healer, it really boggles you to not try and fill the little bar the whole time and also checks response time + awareness.

On the Chimareon encounter, put your priests on the tanks. PoM is OP on this encounter since it handles the Double Attack perfectly.
PoM + rolling hots will easily get the tank above 10k in between the two attacks, meaning you do not really need to keep the tanks topped at all times.

A little "clever use of encounter mechanics" that I learned from one of our recruits last week was that on Cho'gall in P2, if you tank Cho'gall right next to the wall (with his left side against the wall and tank + boss parallel to the wall) the adds that he summons will spawn much close to each other. Meaning easier nuking and interruption of them.

Currently I play a Holy / Shadow Priest.
Will most probably change this to Holy / Smite Disc for the Wyrmbreaker encounter this week.

lol d3th_n1gG4 paladin tanks are the stronges tanks around they bring raid wall which no other tank can beat and there dps is awesome

we planning on working on Halfus hc after we take down Neferian

- 12/12 (25man) 12/12(10man)

- Making preparations for taking on Halfus 25 HC, lost 4 healers these past two weeks due to various reasons and needed to fill our roster a bit before attempting this again.

- So far it's been good, I like the difficulty of some of the bosses.

- I like Atramedes a lot, not necessarily the mechanics behind it but the boss looks great and I find the whole sound thing interesting.(Most of the fights are rinse repeat when you get the tactics down)

- Don't stand in the fires/void zones.

- Assassination Rogue

- This expansion is MUCH harder and its good! makes kills feel worthwhile.

- Nefarian , it has lots of fire to die in!

- Stack classes

- Survival Hunter

PS: Disc priests for halfus smite spamming = WIN! ( Damage modifier also makes the heal effect INSANE )

Strength aside, they do not feel like they are playing right anymore if that makes sense. I play for enjoyment, I don't enjoy the changes
