Problems after upgrading from "jessie" to "stretch"

Forgive me if this is off-topic (for the forum) but I have spent most of this week's free time trying to resolve the issue.

I recently upgraded to "stretch". When I issued a "sudo apt-get update" after the upgrade I received the following messages

sudo apt-get update

Reading package lists... Done

The hardware is a Pi 3 running as an always-on media server via Ethernet: wireless is disabled. The SD card shows 17GB free (using "df h").

It was necessary to "sudo apt autoremove". That said, it appears as though Sonarr, SABnzbd & Plex updated correctly.
Everything else (including access to the Internet) appears to be working correctly.

NB: I have similar issues after upgrading my Pi 2B.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

PS: Both the official Raspberry & Stack Exchange forums were unable to assist, going so far as to say that a clean image should be used i.e. don't upgrade.

Sorry can't help with your question. Just wanted to know what your experience with plex is running on pi3?

I am trying to get Cacti to pull in info from the rpi via a perl script and having some difficulty. But cacti seems pretty nifty so I think I may leave the info from the Pi for now and mess with SNMP on my other network devices

I'm very happy thus far.

I run Sonarr, SABnzbd+ and Plex on a Pi 3 with a 4 TB (self-powered) USB HDD as an always-on media server. Works like a charm.

Caveats:
  • I'm the only person in the house so need for multiple streams.
  • I don't watch on my smartphone (or similar) so I don't require transcoding.
  • Occasionally I experience continual buffering on playback. This can normally be resolved by reprocessing the file via Handbrake at default settings (or obtaining another version of the file).

thanks. I am going to give this a go.

Worked on a quick python + SQL + web app to monitor and output temperatures and humidity for 4x sensors to any LAN connected browser:

The DH22s are definitely more accurate / consistent than the DH11s but it's minimal as you can see.
I'll include the code here when done.

Anyone know where I can source old/disassembled IPS displays to be used for a photo frame project? They make it seem easy online, but thats obviously for the US.

Old LCD displays shouldn't be hard. Old IPS displays... not a chance.

Hey , anyone with suggestions ?

Busy with an old arcade type setup on raspberry 3b. Got the joysticks etc. the issue is with SD card . It's a 16gig card , once I load retropie on it it changes partition to 55meg and I can't get the full size back. I tried the commands listed in the many tutorials but nothing works.

Any ideas ?

Tell us more about where you're seeing this 55meg partitions - how did you come to that conclusion?
Not sure expanding the file system will solve it but you can try exiting emulationstation and running 'sudo raspi-config' from bash. I think it's option 1 to expand the file system. Not in front of my own right now so can't say for sure.

When I try to load roms it says no space. My properties shows 55meg. When I go into a partition mgmt programme it shows 2 partitions.

I did use the sudo command as you said but it didn't help

I was asking you guys, not the internet.

LOL. I'm a bot Panji. I AM THE INTERNET!! *mwahahahaha*
I have wanted to do this though I would love to do SmoothWall or IPCop. Seems you need a USB Ethernet adapter to have two wired interfaces. I've always liked DDWRT and Tomato myself.
