my order was a mix of electronics and other home stuff

Not sure, some stuff get taxed and some dont. Also the different things get charge different rates. It looks like you got charge 20% based on a quick estimate.

I paid R80 bucks, if you do a credit card payment but bank deposit and atm dep has a R20 Surcharge.

When I ordered on the 30th there was a lappie backpack that caught my eye (R133), minimum spend was R200 so I looked for a few other items to make it to R200.

Does anyone know if you use a coupon if customs is determined before coupon or afterwards?

The coupon get s deducted off the total. Surely logic would say if you get a discount off the total you don't have to pay tax on the discount?

I see even people who get free items on temu don't have the money to pay tax.

This woman who chas R500+ customs off a R0 order. In total she says she has to pay R2000 tax.

Sorry I should of been more clear..I want to use my work email address as opposed to Gmail..but will only have access to work email next Tuesday..I just don't wanna order and then they send invoice for tax between today and Monday because then I would have wasted somd time and the item I'm ordering I need by the 23 April

For me it's was only 15% extra for VAT. But it depends on the item.
