Your temu orders

Initial (All 15.6") monitor was the NC160A which is 2.5K. Paid under R1100 (after applying Fishland R800 coupon) + around R220 taxes delivered by Skynet.

Second monitor is the lower NC156A (B is the touch version) - R448 + R220 taxes, Buffalo should drop if off tomorrow.

3rd monitor is something that was a preorder with no reviews, Anmite with touch, R402 paid, R227 taxes. Coming via Linex Air services, where their page shows declared value of ZAR 1225.01. The advertised value was around R825 before my coupons.

Duties and taxes don't make any sense.

Edit : The NC156A received. 16:9 is a drop off from the 16:10 NC160A. Barely tested - viewing angles and brightness also weaker. For R668 in total for a 15.6" FHD portable monitor still worth it, will make a decent gift.

My last two orders are taking quite a bit longer to arrive, we'll see how long still.

They probably getting hammered with deliveries cz holiday rush and are making mistakes

That is odd, only ever had that with Fastway, but will see latest order has been with Buffalo and has been the longest. Was supposed to be delivered from the 6th
 
Ok delivered now, sigh the one thing is missing parts :-( request refund, but thanks to all the price adjustments its only R19 back

My 15.6. The NC156A on top of the NC160A.
16:9 bezel aligns where the 16:10 display ends. Same amount of pdf image though because both on FHD mode. NC156 is scaled correctly but NC160 needs to be switched to 16:9 mode.20241112_195812.jpg

Nice :-), yeah the 11" now seems a bit small :-). Might be able to get a 15" to put under my 32"

I do regret not taking the 11" since it is less unwieldy and I have a use case that I need to view A4 scanned documents in portrait mode, for which higher resolution is needed, and 16:10 is better than 16:9 (although 4:3 is best) - both of which waste screen space on A4 fit to page.

The 16:9 was deeply discounted but so was the 11". Oh well, knowing Temu there could be more discounts or deeper BF deals coming, otherwise it will be another 4+ months on Fishland.

4 months on fishland? Damn I'm still on 99.9% for 2 months :). Sure mine was Farmland that managed to come right. Yeah the 11" for R700 was well worth it, can't see it for that price now, but the 16" was R853 :-( part of me is like maybe should've gone for that one. But I wouldn't have gotten the KZ EDX and PC case stand for free
 
Just got my tax payment request - R206 on a R540 order that included 4 pairs of shorts. So about 38% in total
