I got hit big time with customs now. Order value, R560.00. Customs, R224.10. Its 40% customs. Eish! Basterds! No clothing in my order. last week I ordered all clothing and only paid 20% customs. It's a gamble with customs it seems.

Have been at 99.99% on fishland and 99.93 on the final fish for the past two weeks, I haven't found enough good stuff to want to complete and make use of the vouchers. Clothing, yes I have a cartful but the duties on a R2000 order discounted R800 leaves me wondering if they will tax on the R2000, or the R1200 only.

I have enough portable monitors already, and I also spend wisely on stuff that I will have a use for. Prices have bumped a bit too on items I was monitoring.

Yes my last order was like that and I paid separate duties on each shipment based on the value of what was in each of them.

This was due to buffalo only being able to calculate duties for a single item and the majority was done by asendia.

If you download the invoice you can see the breakdown. But yes there are handling fees now as part of the duties.

It seems like parcels take longer to be dispatched and arrive.

I made 2 orders on 10/2 and this morning it is at the airport for departure.

So 8 days from order to the airport for departure. Most probably another week or so to arrive.
