Your temu orders

Anyone got some claimcredit "plays" since Monday ?

Unrrelated rant... I'm sure my buffalo delivery will be here at the same time as my GFS delivery; even though it was ordered 10 days later.

Ordered and received some fishing items. All obviously cheaper than our local stores ( jigs , hooks, sinkers etc ). Quality not bad either

Initial (All 15.6") monitor was the NC160A which is 2.5K. Paid under R1100 (after applying Fishland R800 coupon) + around R220 taxes delivered by Skynet.

Second monitor is the lower NC156A (B is the touch version) - R448 + R220 taxes, Buffalo should drop if off tomorrow.

3rd monitor is something that was a preorder with no reviews, Anmite with touch, R402 paid, R227 taxes. Coming via Linex Air services, where their page shows declared value of ZAR 1225.01. The advertised value was around R825 before my coupons.

Duties and taxes don't make any sense.

Edit : The NC156A received. 16:9 is a drop off from the 16:10 NC160A. Barely tested - viewing angles and brightness also weaker. For R668 in total for a 15.6" FHD portable monitor still worth it, will make a decent gift.
I am looking at getting the NC160A/NC156B, is yours still working fine? How is the 2.5K resolution on such a small screen?

No complaints at all. Have not given them enough hours, in the cupboard at various stages.

Most phones these days are a touch above 2K, so really it is the distance to the screen that may make a difference. I also have the 10.5" FHD screen that I used in portrait mode. For the 10.5" a bit tough when it is used flush with the main 24" LCD, but I have it a bit closer, and also moved on from single vision contact lens with reading glasses to just progressive glasses.

You can adjust the scaling in windows, but 2.5K is great. It does cause annoyance when you switch to a machine with only FHD.

No claimcredit here either

I'm back on the claimcredit train, R1977 credit to claim on a R2663 order.
A lot of the items available to order where also on promo and not full price as is normally the case with the stuff you are offered on the claimcredit page. I've never got that before, or at least nothing to the degree on this order and these were legit discounts, some on items I've ordered multiple times before so I know what they normally are sold for.

I noticed even in the normal listing pages lots of items were currently heavily marked down with promos, perhaps to try boost the January sales slump.

All the promo discounts I got:

Did the invite/notification pop up, or did you have to search claimcredit?

CN Express. No idea what South Bay is meant to be. Anyway. We wait.

It popped up when I opened the app, I’d given up on getting one so I stopped opening the app to check but I opened it this morning randomly and got offered it, decent one as well.

I have a suspicion that the number of previous claim credits and your current amount of available credit may affect whether they offer you a Claimcredit but let's see if you get offered any thing, hopeful they do. I had to pay in R880 to make my latest claimcredit order.

The only shtty thing with Claimcredit orders is I don't get an option to use Pudo for the delivery, has anyone else managed to use Pudo for a claimcredit order?

Were you carrying a credit? I was sitting on 3k for 3 weeks. Made a normal order yesterday. Clothing so will encounter higher taxes. Would not want to have clothing on a claimcredit anyway since it could jack up the taxes on the other items.

Still holding onto the bulk ready for the next round.

Prices... I have not noticed a drop over the 6 months. This despite the improvement in the exchange rate against the dollar.

Yes I was on around R1800 credit, that seems to be around the sweet spot for being offered Claimcredit

Claimed my last day's credit back this morning and then got presented with this. I see it's not the coins based thing and seems similar to claimcredit but just up to a lesser amount.

Credits/coupons or allowances. Do we know what it gives or how it works ?

I'm back in the game again today too. Whoop whoop!

Allowance seems the same as coupon with a minimum spend required to take off a specific amount... and it's temporary. Blegh! Take low credit or wait for claimcredit to come back.....

It’s junk, be patient and wait for Claimcredit to come back.

If you ever want to know how a promo works and whether it's worth it Google Reddit+temu+promo name and there'll be dozens of threads with people discussing the in/outs pros/cons

I very nearly went with wincredit yesterday, but wasn't focussing so missed that I only had 30 mins for the increased reward rate. It was marginal at the increased rate, definitely not worth it at normal rate.
