Had one from takealot catch fire. Though never had one from temu do the same cause I've checked them.
 
Anyone done the Rewards Back promo?
Seems like Temu chooses to give the rewards in a mix of credit, discounts and coupons. I was wondering how much credit actually gets given (they claim total of R1200 of rewards)

I claim all the credit over the 7 days and then buy something ellse when claim credit pops up again. So every 8 days .

Busy with this one. When complete I will buy again.

I've been swayed. It's kinda fun seeing the random stuff people get from temu, I just hardly bother with this thread anymore with all the claimcredit talk.

I got a nice big bag full of goodies today. Have to wait for the next claimcredit/wincredit offer to appear before I can order again though

Another Temu order received from 28 Jan - this time with Fastway, surprisingly efficient, especially as it's random stuff I need for an electronic project that I can't really find elsewhere.

Yeah same.. been probably 6-8 weeks for me I'd say. Keep getting all the other garbage promos
 
Chinese new year break coming up too, so there should be a slowdown. Still no claimcredit since Xmas day, but a couple of promo's have come back in cycle after a similar period. The R945 of R2700+ and R300 of R900 spend or so. Still sitting on R2400+ claimed credit though.

Only purchase recently was mainly for a colleague who wanted a R132 smartwatch and been bothering me for 2 months, I told him I was not going to get him a toy. He would not create an account for himself either. Finally relented when I had a discount for something I wanted to add to the cupboard of unused gadgets and so added his item to meet the minimum order.
 
Any way to contact GFS via WhatsApp or email? I used their WhatsApp number but no reply. Trying to get a delivery rescheduled as it might come on Saturday.

Don't care too much about what it looks like as long as it's sturdy enough.

There were some others but they had a lot of bolts showing and looked a bit off so opted for this fancier one instead.

Whether the actual thing will look anything like the picture is another matter altogether.

I've slowly migrated to using larger Consol chars with custom labels for everything and that just doesn't work in any normal spice rack setup that wants those tiny Robertson style things.

Funny enough it's been in our kitchen about a year or more now and it's doing it's job, I don't really notice it anymore :-).
 
Very much doubt it will hold my monstrous cutting board, but that would be a nice win if it does.

I bought two...which may be over kill but figured more is more and will keep the counters emptier for taking up a lot of them.

Will go into opposite sides of the kitchen so at least not a wall of shelving.

Should do the job until I one day remodel and go open plan.
