Your temu orders

26th. They sticking with this. But I kept stating that it's with the courier and should be delivered asap since it's out for delivery. I understand in usual terms but not when the item is actually with the courier's etc.
Given that it's so far in advance of the delivery date I doubt the courier even has it. When did you pay customs?

The courier has it definitely, even received a code. Temus dates are to protect themselves. I've always received packages way before the latest dates.

Are people still getting offered Claimcredit or Wincredit and if not are there any new offerings from our overlords at Temu?

Here we go again, the lying. I swear the reviews by others tell the exact same issue.

and two of these - one black and one white

im not bothered if the charging dock doesn't get anywhere near its claimed output - as long as my fast charging items get enough power to quick charge in PD mode

the in ear earphone cases are interesting - the buddy who is doing my order for me already has the leather version - he is able to carry his KZ PR-1 planar magnetic IEMs as well as his DAC and small tiny USB cable in it - and at around R25 or thereabouts for each one it seems like its worth having some extras for when the one that i use fades or starts breaking - besides my in-ears are KZ as well (KZ AS16)

posted screenshots of the items because the links will disappear when the items get sold out, and then the post wont make sense - with these screenshots you can still have an idea of what i'm talking about in the body of my post

stuff has arrived and is in my hands now

Temu Order.jpg

just need to see how it all works now - the white in-ear headphone case looks silver grayish but still looks alright and the charger unit feels heavy and solid as if there is some heavy duty electronics in it - hopefully it works as good as it feels and looks - it feels as heavy as an external hard drive in a dock - the cases feel lightweight and cheap which is no surprise because they were cheap ..... hence the extra units - when one gets worn out it can be replaced by a new unit

Thinking about it now there's no ways that charger will be able to supply 1000W of power, imagine how hot it would get
I’d be surprised if it can even reach 250W.

dont try to overthink it - no-one is really going to try and use every port at the same time - most i would use at one time is maybe three of them - so 250 watt should be totally adequate 😉

though it is surprising how tech advances - because i have seen audio amplifiers of that size that can potentially output 250 watts to 500 watts in class D power to huge speakers - so sometimes well designed and well built little things can perform surprisingly BUT i don't see too many circumstances where i would be tempting fate to try and prove this

either way i wouldn't know how to measure it to verify it. but i'm not stressed as i said i would never ever ever use every port at the same time because the odds that everything will have completely discharged batteries at exactly the same time is pretty low and realistically i only needed one single 100 watt port to supply power to charge my 20000 mah 100 watt PD power bank quickly instead of using my 25 watt phone charger overnight 😉

also every item you connect to a port might not need the full power rating - these things are backward compatible to provide for example 25 watts to a phone that has a port only capable of charging at 25 watts - so things like watches and earphones etc only need the usual USB 5 watts to charge - and 10 things like that connected to this unit will hardly make it sweat IMHO

Latest GFS did not show any movement to Dbn once handed over at Jhb on Sunday. 1.30 pm yesterday (Wednesday) received WhatsApp message with pin and received item by 3.30pm.

You're very lucky hey, many people still waiting for their package for months. I got another WhatsApp now saying out for delivery with a new code. I'm hoping it actually comes today.

So even though it's out for delivery again today. I'm now being told this "We have a delivery timeframe of 3 days"

I wouldn't use this charger for anything important.

And likely comes from the same factory as the Temu one?
Good point, there's only one Made in China factory, who are they kidding!!
The cheeky buggers probably just de-brand Anker chargers and then fob them off as Premium Temu goods.

Temu is just a platform much like eBay and hence you can potentially get anything and everything on there, perhaps you may find a decent charger once you find one with good reviews where some techie has torn one open and stuck it on an oscilloscope to check what's what, loaded it to see that it matches the rated power/output. Or a reputable branded one that is confirmed is not a knock-off.

Me personally I have not had good experiences with Temu's no-name electronics, there's just too many corners that can be cut that will be hidden inside the case and I've never had good experiences with cheapie power supplies, even with branded(albeit off brand makes) stuff bought locally. But I couldn't care less if someone wants to plug their R10-25k phone into a no name charger, by all means do so, why not it's your device.

Tools and legit branded stuff, yes I've got some amazing stuff from Temu.

i have rarely bought a dud item from Temu - most of the stuff i got from them works as advertised - to paraphrase someone up above - maybe i got lucky so far 😉

So this is what I'm going through again. I waited for delivery and nothing happened then they did another "failed delivery" status and now 9pm out for delivery again.

The way it's going, Temu will not refund as it seems it's my fault because they are making it seem like I'm rescheduling delivery.
