Citation please. I know you're not being serious.

How many Uyghurs are punished when Apple Macbooks have issues?

All of them. Apple don’t take Shiiite from Uyghurs.

Received parts 2 and 3 of my R5k order today. Part 1 arrived yesterday. 95 items total. Very happy with everything including the clothing. Only 2 of about 50 toddler toys were low quality. Most of this stuff is on Takealot for 3 - 5 times the price. Probably won't get through most of it and will just sell what's not used for a profit. Will be able to sell the used stuff and still profit or at least break even. Endorphins were pumping while opening everything lol.

If get the wheel spinning 100% off voucher deal up to a max of R1000. Meaning you get the vouchers after doing an order. However I don't know how good the voucher's are. Is it R700 or R3000 or is it actually good and R1000 off R1000. Anyone else have taken that voucher?

Sounds like 15% but if I recall I read tax is supposed to be 0% on toys but I might be wrong
I think the clothes are taxed the most? There were around 10 items. Three of which were sleep sacks which I presume are classified as clothes due to being textiles.

No lie stuff is reasonable, got 18 items for like R300 lol

Current shipping status says "Tax paid"

Problem is I need it to arrive before Friday. I won't be here on Friday and Saturday and unfortunately there's no way to even reschedule delivery.

Does anyone have one of the fireplace thermal fans? Do they actually make a difference?

First time my packages were handed to a third party, who has apparently left it at West Bay 5. So I'm guessing Fastway

Did you get any confirmations/hints that it is Fastway? And any indication of delivery date?
My order ( split in 2 packages ) is also saying left at west bay 4 & 5, so just wondering... I have inserted the BUF waybill details in various courier trackers incl. Fastway, but no records as of yet... :(

Did my order last Sunday the 14th, and quite impressed that its with couriers already, now the "last mile"...

Received my first shipment from Temu, the items are worth the price I paid for them except the USB hub which makes my PC act weird and the one USB port doesn't work if the other is used.

I want to return it and found that they don't have option to report a faulty product

Edit: maybe I have to wait for the delivery to be confirmed sent on their end....

I received what looked like a used product, it had scratches. I logged a complaint and requested a refund by giving it one star.

Temu refunded me and said I can keep the product.

Interestingly, that was the first time I received something I was not happy with after a lot of orders.

Got my first, second and third order all at once today. Delivered by ITT. Was a bit shocked when I saw the size of the bags of crap I bought. Useful crap. That I seldom but desperately need.

No complaints, everything seems to be of decent quality.

Only thing that's a bit disappointing is the coffee tamper spoon which is pretty bendy so not very useful for tamping.

But what can you expect for less than 20 bucks?

I am old my math isn't as good as it used to be but the formula should be (Import tax/cost of the item) X 100.

So we know the order was R5000 we know the Import tax was R850 (850 / 5000) = 0.17

0.17 X 100 = 17% tax paid. I guess, it comes down to the product and size and if it is listed as a luxury item or not.

If anyone can confirm it would help.

Vat on imports is levied at 15% of 110% of the value. And then potential import duties based upon a highly specific schedule with literally thousands of different categories
