Your temu orders

Strangely enough my favourite thing I got from Temu, these little cable holders with magnetic clasps, man so handy. The rest of the things have been integrated into the house or garden so don't really see it that much, but that cable holder... It's made a big difference

Second order arrived. R 900 paid on the 10th, R 110 tax on the 16th, delivered 22nd. R 33 in price adjustment credit so far.

Pleased with my little mountain of junk. The thermal printer is pretty cool for < R 200 and I'm impressed with the bed brackets - nice and heavy duty. But they were R 170 for 4. I think you pay a premium for weight on Temu, which makes sense, it's going air freight. So for heavier/bulkier stuff it's not going to be cheaper than stuff sold locally that came off a ship... assuming you can find the product locally.

The little night lights for ~R 30 are great. You get 8 LEDs, a little 200 mAh pouch cell and charging circuit, and they even throw in a cute little 15 cm USB cable. Literally any one part of this could go for R 30. Mine has internal moulding for a 14500 cell which would be a nice upgrade. I recommend the switched ones not the "induction" (PIR sensor) versions because the latter only stay on ~10 seconds so it goes dark mid pee.
Link to the thermal printer pls?

Wow they suck at urls :-) but that's the one I ordered

That is normal - you just have to remove everything after ? after html. This is not pretty either but hey, I don't code for them.

I got 90% off of one item and then added a few other items. The total is R1417 with a claimed savings of R5024. Wonder what the import duties will be? the calculate it on value or what was paid?

Just guessing. 220-250 if it is not clothing.

It'll be based on what was paid

Well this should be interesting, Fastaway delivered today - breakable items - I wasn't home, so he asked if he could throw it over the gate (2m) - I said no, rather slide it under (aobut 30cm clearance) , which he said he'd do - I have him on camera throwing the parcel over the gate.
Everything survived, including the shitty gym clock I picked up for R200.

On my 3rd shipment from them and its a problem. I know its cheap junk and the savings are inflated to make you get them but damn some of the stuff is just so cheap! The under R100 items just accumulate until you're having to sift through the cart to filter out the needs from the wants and add in something for the wife to justify the junk you've purchased.

Wife received her parcel with lots of clothing yesterday. I received my parcel with 3 tshirts and some other items today.

how "programable" is that clock for amrap, emoms other madeup crossfit words?

I don't do any of those crossfit words.

I only need a count down and stop watch, which it has - comes with a little remote control.

I saw they do have a more advanced programmeable via bluetooth one for R800 - but - again - no need.

Curious. Are you some kind of sports coach that you need such big clock ?

I'm compensating. :D

Nah - it goes on the opposite wall from where I train. So want something I can see clearly. I also need to monitor the time - because I need to be out by 6:45 each morning to get to work by 8am.

(It also doesn't help that I'm getting on in years)
