got this battery camera today. Uses Tuya Smart app, which suits me fine as I already have various Tuya switches and an alarm system. Does not seem to have rtsp/onvif, or I just don't know how to check it

You're right. Previously the most expensive item I could find was a R10K car diagnostic computer. This boat was 3rd most expensive.

That is another thing. The thing is sold under phone accessories but it doesn't come with a clip like in the photo. So it is a mini telescope that lets you see 5 meters ahead of you.

To use it with your phone you basically have to look like an idiot and use both hands. One to hold it against the phone and try get it in the middle of the lens. The other to take the photo. Without a free hand you can't use your phone settings. Result is you get an out of focus photo of something magnified by 5 meters. You have to manually set the focus first by looking though the damn thing and even then the image sucks and is like looking through a peephole.

I bought this one.

It does magnify things maybe 3X It is ok for Rugby, the moon looks a few times bigger, but not seen the craters.


And also when I let the woman look, she said she can see better with her own eyes, but I think she was just being a wiseass.

I got one knowing it would be crap, it is a better than expected, not magnifying much at all but does allow one to focus better- I could read a box label on a shelf from 20m across the warehouse for R45.
