Your temu orders

Also looking for a complete charger for my S24U, but I don't think I will go the Temu route.
Either the 25W or the 45W Samsung original looks like a win situation. Others are lucky packet.
This is the lesson I've learnt :( the only device that has given me super charge is 2 desktop chargers I got for my Ally, but they can push out 65 to 100w so it's expected. The other chargers will work fine for an S23/S24 at 25w but the ultra just goes to fast charge not super.

Try one made by Ugreen.

Don't expect Temu pricing, but their stuff is top quality.

Strange, so basically the jumping up and down is just that, cause if they charged you 45% for under R500 already, it means the tax is correct.
He probably got credit, voucher or price adjustment so the real order values was above R500. His payment amount just happened to be below it.

That is weird. From July 1 it is 45% + VAT so your customs will be more. Did you get that jackpot spin wheel perhaps as that might work slightly different?

Fastway and Buffalo have different customs processing fees. Fastway I found is around R20 higher than Buffalo that is why seeing Fastway delivers an order is always worse as is more and takes around 2 day extra as well.

here is my last order from fastway

My customs was R79.40 or 36.8 % customs of item value was R217. But it should be 20% as it is before 1 July.

20% off R217 is R43.40. The R36.5 difference must be Fastway's customs processing and delivery fee.
My item was small so we do not know if Fastway have a location, weight or percentage calculation rather than a fixed fee. In past tried to get it from them but they hide it because customers will complain saying Temu falsely advertise free delivery when it is clearly not.

Hello guys...

I've never used temu service before.

I want to order a pair of shoes + shorts as a beginner. The apparent 'big discount' tag is what has attracted me (after spinning that discount wheel twice)

After selecting the items, total cost is written R301 (with free shipping).

My question is: is there any other hidden/extra cost which I might incur apart from the mentioned R301?

Suppose I live in Cape Town.

You'll still need to pay customs

LDNIO and Ugreen are generally the 2 I go for now, they've not disappointed me. Though the one I was peeved it said it was LDNIO on takealot but what arrived wasn't, so I sent it back.

Bought a phone cooler and some thumbsleeves total price R204. Tax was R68. This is the highest I paid on such a low order. My previous order was R490 and paid R29 tax.

Yeah some stuff does attract more tax, I paid R80 for R160 order it was the Asus earpods and an anime figure.

You will get an e-mail (also a message on app) from Temu entitled Your Temu package cannot be delivered and will then have to pay the customs and VAT to whomever the link in the e-mail points to, either https://index.buffaloex.com (Buffalo) or https://acspay.co.za (FastWay).

Still less than half the price for the exact same thing on takealot so still a massive win.

Funny enough my last 2 parcels were delivered by fastway in Centurion where it was always buffaloex themselves. Customs was also paid via buffalo.
