Your temu orders

SA direct mail is BUFFALO and already includes customs/tax
Ah okay, that's quite misleading as I thought that meant like direct mail aka Post Office. No wonder I always thought they shipped with the post office.

Thanks! The more you know!

Temu is awesome if you like in Australia, its almost always free shipping and arrives in 4-5 days. Now if only they had something useful to buy...

South Africa isn't too far behind. My last order was placed late evening of the 15th and delivered on the morning of the 22nd

Their dog toys are amazing. As are their resin moulds. Got some really good quality ones from there - and a lot cheaper than the same item on Take-a-lot or Amazon.
Their pendants are well made and the metal doesn't tarnish or break. Usually cheap jewelry makes my skin black but this does not.

Does a order still get dispatched to RSA with duty pending? Is it held locally till its paid? Family member has placed a order and wasn't aware there is a duty invoice which follows, that was over a week ago.

That is really good. Banggood was around two weeks with Buffalo orders about a year ago so it sounds like they have upped their game.

Yes it ships and arrives here, then you get notified about taxes. They phone you, SMS you and it is on your account.

You are taking enjoyment out of my temu shopping experience. Can't I just enjoy buying useless trinklets without you doubling down here ?

*Reminder - I know, I know. I started this thread.

SA guy
Saw him in one of the reviews of a product I was looking at. Though think he over paid for the mic arm, as I've noticed arms like that are pretty much the same price here.

That watch doesn't look bad at all
It doesn't actually, though that cleaning kit looks interesting to me :-), plus he bought plenty of those magnetic clasp things, like I did. Wonder if he knows that the double sided tape is in the packet.

Now if only they had something useful to buy...
I guess it depends what your interests are but I'm constantly finding cool things that are either unavailable locally or just grossly overpriced here.

From measuring devices, to weather stripping, woodworking gadgets and useful micro-electronics. Every time I go on there I find something, which might be a bad thing
