Your temu orders

Bought something last Friday. Paid tax on Sunday (Buffalo). Still waiting for it to go to the airport according to app tracking. A bit slower than previous experiences. Due to Christmas shopping perhaps?

When I used to order from China via eBay the Xmas rush would add up to a few weeks onto shipping times.

Seconded. I ordered on 10 November and according to my tracking status my order has been bouncing around [Speedaf M] sites since 28 November.
I'm tempted to choose the replacement order because like UrBaN963 said, [Speedaf M] is useless.

Meanwhile I'm getting suspicious smses with phony links saying I underpaid for shipping. I think my delivery is being held for ransom.

I bought last Sunday and it arrived yesterday but one order i placed on the 20th Nov only arrived yesterday as well so.

You're supposed to be able to get it reshipped or get a full refund if it isn't delivered within 30 days. After 35 days they're supposed to do an automatic refund.
 
Do polarized sunglasses count as clothing imports? Also for clothing in general, should we keep individual orders under R500 to avoid the additional 45% import duty or did SARS change that?

Temu seems confused. Yesterday my parcel got lost on its way to the PE distribution centre and ended up on its way back ot customs? :unsure:

Had my first split order from temu, says that it won't effect the shipping price, both were about 30 bucks for shipping so not sure

Sorry the last part was meant to say tax not shipping. The odd thing was the message that it wouldn't effect shipping, but not tax.

Only R30 tax for each parcel, that's amazing, was the order value very low?
