Your temu orders

Has anyone found a decent boroscope/endoscope on Temu that can record/take pics?
Pretty much all the versions they sell weirdly don't have that functionality.

I found one where the images of the item showed an SD card slot but when it arrived the slot was blanked out šŸ˜ :rolleyes: :laugh:
To be fair it's very nice for R400 but I want one that can record/take pics for review after the fact.

To be honest I'm not really up to date with smart watches so that is probably why I'm easily pleased by this fong kong but so far it's very decent.

Has a generic app from play store. Can do everything like weather, face gallery, heart rate etc

The sensor that controls the screen on off is a bit clunky so screen comes on when driving. Smaller batter than say a galaxy watch. No water resist rating although it says water resistant but that is probably some random. No esim or simcard features no gps and didn't expect it because it's just a normal smart watch that links with the phone.

Real test for me would be how long battery lasts and how long the actual watch lasts.

I may be within reach of finishing Farmland. It already gave me the option to chose the items from the next round, But one of the items that I selected have been out of stock and the icon changed to a gift and now the other item went out of stock and also changed to a gift icon.

It happened on my first round of Fishland too but I managed to get somethings worthwhile even though lower value. 2nd Round of Fishland was okay with original chosen gifts shipped. Farmland had allowed change to items earlier on (with a decent selection) but now that I got close to the finish the selection became crap.
 
Anyone else here get excessive vat and customs from Speedaf? There's a few people on the other Temu thread that also have.
Buffalo and Fastway used to be correct, but Speedaf wants to charge me over 50% tax. I asked them for a detailed invoice but I dont have much hope. Going to refuse payment and tell them to send it back, also complained to Temu support

Speedaf grapes(minus the G) me with AliExpress duties so i agree
 
Ordered on 18th March and got delivery yesterday via skynet. Turnaround time is amazing. Skynet delivered and not buffalo this time.
 
Hmm last two orders with Fastway had over 30% tax :-( only one had clothing. The other were things like screen protectors unless those now get higher taxes?

I am thinking its a bit luck of the draw really, someone in our office did an office buy from Temu all clothing and import cost was 20% and it was like R900 worth of clothing.

Yeah does seem to be so, it really is odd what they tax.

I suspect what they doing is declaring it per shipment whether its a container or a bundle of flyer bags and they will then say 60% is clothing etc.

I doubt they doing it per invoice, and customs don't have the time to check everything so if you order comes through on a shipment mainly clothing you might get higher taxes.

The company i work for imports clothing and fashion items from all around the world and we go through the process of everything is checked by customs and it takes forever to clear a consignment.

I pushed through anyway and finished. It allowed me credit for one gift about R200 and the other item was available (as it had always been, except on Farmland) and will be shipped.

As for the Farmland vouchers the timing is bad and I will probably have to let them expire...so the effort I put ended as a waste.
 
Maybe with this US China trade war they will increase the product range to SA to offset the US sales losses they might suffer. THe product range they sell in the US is just so much better
 
Last ordered on Temu in 2023. Since the import vat/duty increase thingy, I have not had any motivation to do so, but last week I saw a couple of items that I liked and tested the waters with an item that I paid R60 for, and this morning I received R51.50 import duty & VAT. Is this now the norm or what?

How did you get them to ship a R60 item when most people have a R200 minimum spend?

My most recent order was 15%.
