Your temu orders

guys i cant believe this stuff. so i ordered some stuff from temu mostly cloths and accessories, some of em were preorder so i split my order into two packages. Now it took them a while to send the stuff to the airport, saying their courier had delays and stuff so i was patient. when i talked to the AI it told me that its gonna get on a flight on the 16th (which is the same date an air china flight to joeburg), so i had some hope. Now i open the app today and i see this, like what why are they shipping it by sea lol. Like sea freight will take at least 25-30 days so it will literally let me get a no delivery refund lol.
Can anyone who ordered recently or had something ship by sea help me here or share their experience.
What are you doing with that banana? Is it from Temu?

Ai, I'm getting tried of getting misrepresented poorly made junk from Temu.

Even if you get a refund you still have to take pics of the shtty junk you got and waste time opening a return and writing up why you want a refund and you feel like a conman asking for soo many refunds. And then you have to start the whole process again and hope the item you order to replace the junk isn't the same junk all over again. And the how Temu is sneaky with the way they display prices amongst a litany of other shady behaviours, stop being scumbags you a-holes, it's not hard! :(

Yeah, you have to check the dimensions, that on you. But I agree. You think you're buying an item, then you're buying a component of something.

Or the person holding the item has very small hands LOL

I was wondering if this could blow out dust from a keyboard.

Going by the pic and description , I’m going to say yes.

I reckon I could blow the clouds back over Table mountain with that one.
I make a point of checking dimensions, and also reviews with photos.

I fkn hate reviews where people give 5 stars and say item looks good, arrived fast haven't used it yet. FFS.

It’s sellers blatantly miss-representing stuff, for instance having a pic of an item that's steel, calling it steel in the heading and description and then sending the cheaper aluminium version
Or just sending absolute garbage, I ordered some 100mm long screwdriver bits, there are supposed to be 4 PH2 bits in the set, it came with 1 PH2 bit and 3 other weirdly sized bits with a label that says PH2 on them, also the machining on the tips is garbage. In the same order I also ordered some long Torx bits from another seller and they are fine, albeit the metal is a little soft and clearly not S2 steel as claimed. But if they want to fk customers around then I will have to open a return and they can lose the whole sale value, well done own goal.

Yep I think they're playing fast and loose with the words stainless steel.

Everything shiny is stainless steel.

These wiper clips arrives today, and after a considerable amount of struggling (I'm not a mechanic, and I don't have all the tools) I managed to put the wiper linkage clip on, and both wipers work now.

This has saved me a lot of money

These generic Apple Pencils for iPad are amazing value for money at R60, they may not have pressure sensitivity but other than that absolutely no complaints. No Bluetooth pairing, just switch them on and good to go, perfect for a little drawing or when you need to draw over an image to illustrate something and you can do some very cool stuff using Apple scribble when handwriting.
Just a pity they don't work with iPhones, I was hoping as a generic they be able to, do the iPads have something special in the display to allow them to work with an active stylus?

Bought 2 pairs of shoes and a spare wheel cover for the car. Arrived yesterday. All great quality and all fit perfectly. Will have to wait and see how long the shoes last but they look the same quality as shoes bought in store locally.

Another great temu purchase

I see that they are dealing in counterfeit money now...

South African 10 Rand Banknote Design Beach Towel - https://share.temu.com/2Mq7e410DxA
I've got a REAL SOUTH AFRICAN R50 beach towel. Sadly, I tried to buy a steak pie today and they wouldn't accept it as payment. Probably because they didn't have a R5 towelette.
