Just to add. It's a R2843 phone from Temu. My expectations are low to very low, but I must say sometimes Chinese tech can surprise you so I'm hoping maybe it's one of those relatively good surprises.

Probably getting it delivered tomorrow as its at the PTA Hub and I'm in PTA so will probably go out for delivery tomorrow. Will see how good the phone is and if it's worth the R3321 total I paid for it.

Got the phone at 8am this morning already. 6 working days. Ordered on Tuesday 5th and delivered today (Tuesday) 12/08/25.

Set it up and everything is looking decent. Phone is already faster than my Samsung A25 in general and gaming. I have done all the updates and installed all my apps etc. Played some Wild Rift also. So far so good. Nice to see a decent feature where you can set to bypass battery charging when playing games or using power intensive apps so the phone doesn't heat up as much.

Phone is very thin and quite light. Very small bezel on the screen. They really did copy the Samsung S25 ultra design exactly and they aren't even hiding it lol.

The screen is really good. I'm surprised. Colours are good and brightness is really good outside.

Looks good but no 5G though?
It’s very handy to have it in some areas where 4G is totally congested.

Yes no 5G unfortunately. It does support multiple LTE carrier aggregation and shows this as 4.5G on the bar. I get between 100-150Mbps on LTE which isn't bad but yes 5G would have been decent but I think that is a stretch for a R2800 phone.

Does it actually get 120Hz? I'm really surprised by this review and the price you paid
 
has anybody seen PD powerbanks on Temu that can supply 15 or 20V?
I need one for my soldering iron
 
Fkn Temu.

Buy one item and then that stupid 'you can add stuff to your cart within 8 hours' thing pops up.

Now I have 3 items in my cart order and it's like the countdown is spurring me on, enticing me to add more stuff before the countdown ends.

My current order is with GFS. These guys are crazy slow!

The item has been "dispatched from distribution centre" in JHB for two days

Must say, it's very impressive and loud - tested it out on my keyboard, desk and server rack - the dust stood no chance!
