I have sped up twice already. Anyway I think the speed up button works when they find it feasible to split a package, when awaiting items from the supplier. My items are both single items, of high value and low margin. The other item has been out for delivery since Saturday and have no speed up button. Delivery postponed once and rescheduled once.
I am in a difficult position, my last two orders remain in the picking stage. One order is over a week old and I have already claimed the credit back
I stay away, as it is more likely to split the order, leading to extra fees and another ding on SARS' sideGo onto Temu, look at your order and there should be a "speed up" button. Hit that and they rev the delivery guys it seems - worked for me, and haven't been given the shitty courier again on other orders.
Had one that was also in picking for almost 10 days now, finally showing movement today and is ready for skynet. The 80% of orders are picked in 2 days claim is bs.

That is strange, what item is it?I was 'forced' into buying some stuff off of temu because my local supplier ran out.
Temu is 40% more expensive and I can't figure out why, the product is made in China and it's the exact same item.
Not even Alibaba is cheaper.
I've noticed not everything on Temu is at rock bottom prices , they may not have optimal suppliers for that item or the sellers that do aren't on Temu South Africa. For some reason each region gets different pricing and product range, which can be quite annoying when somebody posts a link to Temu for a different country and it won't be available for South Africans to order.I prefer not to be specific, but its a consumable used in the husbandry that I'm involved with
I buy it in relatively large quanitites, but now I've depleted the stores with the local supplier and they will only be recieving stock end of February. so I'm having to order from Temu
admin fees for the courierWhat extra fees? I've paid no shipping so far. And like i said, I've only seen the button being available once it's in SA, so customs shouldn't be an issue.

My hypothesis, based on using the similar 'dispatch faster' button on the likes of gearbest back in the day, is that the button could increase the likelihood of your order being split. Had more than 1 order being split after using that button, and I paid, in the form of fees. Specifically the base disbursement fee that the customs agents tend to charge.
