Your temu orders

"I can get some items from Banggood cheaper than Temu as well."

Fastway are clowns
My second last order they took forever to deliver (which is not saying much) - actually got a discount from Temu due to late delivery.

Seems CN Express got a bit fed up with Fastway to deliver in my neck of the woods, since my last order from Temu was delivered by Skynet.

Skynet actually delivered with in a week after the package came through customs - I was 'Cyril shocked' how fast the process can be.

Does banggood include customs and courier?
Banggood with Buffalo, although depends on the warehouse. They have other electable shipping options as well - even DHL if you wanted. They also used to do a optional tariff insurance thing where they charged a nominal percentage of the order. If the package was stopped by customs they would cover the extra costs.

bought a chess clock for R202, normal price is about R300-400

now after price adjustments I paid under R170 for it

and I only ordered this item and they delivered it for free

Interesting.... seems like Temu allows smaller orders if you haven't ordered for a while - just placed R179 order

Wtf is the point of these stupid Google Temu ads if everytime you click one you have to endure two rounds of this spinny wheel kak.

The ESP32-S3 N16R8 were around R200/2. I was pressured to buy some stuff for some nag in the office (who really should be creating his own Takealot and Temu account) and ended paying R240/2.

It dropped to R140/2 and I bought another set. Then R160/2 and now another set is on its way. Now I was not sure if it is genuine R16R8 but it seems okay - I have yet to confirm properly. I have collected but not used the ESP devices previously. Managed to install ESP32 Bit Pirate and it is working fine. Opens up a whole new world of things to do, have you noticed the gushing on XDA over the projects?

Still need to connect them to Arduino IDE and upload some code. Physically they seem identical. Will let you know.

Was a bit annoyed at robotics.org.za
Emailed 3 different people (also via website contact) asking when new esp32 stock will arrive. Not a single response. Would've been happy to wait but these companies don't seem to realise that this isn't 2010 anymore where I'm just going to sit around for months hoping they restock. And if these boards work well.... why would I bother buying local again? A bit sad that local companies lose business to Temu but they're complicit in that loss imo.
