Your temu orders

More like, it was included in the item prices, now you get to pay it at the end as well as in the item price.
Nope, wanted to order the same item - the price is still the same in the listing, but on check-out they're tacking on another R100

All that does is make me rethink purchases from Temu now.

Any progress on your orders?

I am now sitting with 3 seperate orders all stuck for anywhere between 7 & 10 days at the “airport wharehouse operations” status.

One of the orders was meant to be delivered today at the latest - obviously that won’t happen.

The other two are scheduled for latest delivery on the 3rd. Doubtful that will happen.

at what point does one simply cancel the orders and ask for a refund (to my bank account, not really interested in credit on my Temu account)

Also not buying that the Iran airspace story or fuel shortages have any relation here. Our business ordered 3 pallet loads of stock a week ago from a supplier in china, and it was delivered to Cape Town yesterday. There is definately something wrong here that is specific to Temu
The 2 newest orders flew last night. They arrived at the airport yesterday afternoon.
The other order is still sitting at the airport In "Airport Warehouse Operations" since Thursday 22nd October.

They already increased the prices to include customs - this is on top of that.
it could be to compensate for the massive hike in fuel costs, the shipping is "free" but it’s all built in to the prices and someone has to cover the massively increased costs.
"The price of jet fuel has risen by roughly 70% to 96% since the conflict with Iran began in late February 2026"

Ya, my orders are similarly weird.

The order I placed in 13 October is still sitting at “airport warehouse operations”. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday at the latest…

Yet somehow they order I placed on 20 October flew out yesterday, and is now apparently “arrived at the transit airport”. So clearly not booked on a direct flight.

Im beggining to wonder if I shouldn’t just cancel the earlier order and re order the same items - they may actually arrive sooner than waiting for “airport warehouse operations” to actually do something

My 2 parcels flew direct have just cleared JHB customs, and are Out For Delivery.
I got a R20 credit on the one in the warehouse. Will give it a few more days as it's not that urgent.

Got a whatsapp from fastway for a temu order requesting my id document.
It's from their official number, I checked.
I also emailed them and they confirmed it to be theirs.
But the link is to mysecurearea.com

Is this legit?

My 2 parcels were delivered yesterday and the one stuck at the airport for a week flew last night.
Yeah, mine too, although mine was stuck a little longer than a week. Another friend's stuck parcels also flew last night. Must have all been stuck at the same point....I had started giving up any hope of it coming. Hopefully a once off and not a sign of things to come

my order has been at Oliver Tambo since 30Oct and still not through customs or with Fastway - 5Nov I'll get R20, but I'd rather have my parcel
