This morning on 2 of my Huawei devices, YouTube and Playstore stopped working. Apps open in a frozen mode. Any idea what this could be?

YT (on smartphone) hasn't stopped or frozen outright for me, but it sometimes stalls -especially if I start tapping on things as soon as it opens - then asks if I'd like to wait or close it.
I'm using a Huawei B525 router, but I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with that ; more to do with me having downloaded a few hundred clips / vids, that the app / phone's RAM (?) has to contend with - it's much better now that I'm down to 212, from a high of 340 only a few days ago.
