I've only just realised, and I'm absolutely embezzled with joy! HOORAY! Now I can browse youtube when I run out of cap :love:

I think i know whats going on here. Technically google is Local! All you have to do is this:

When you are capped you can still access google.co.za so go from there and type youtube.com and then in the results click youtube. You will then be able to access youtube with the ocasional playback error which can just be fixed by refreshing the page.
Pada's way works perfectly as well but i finally figured this out a few weeks ago :)

If you dont want to go throught the hassle of searching through google everytime simply make this a bookmark:

and it will take you there straight away.
this works for me 100% when i am capped. and should work for everyone else i see no reason why not...

BTW = this is only tested on my Do account :|

How did you get onto it?

directly in your broswer? or through a google search? or through a locallist.co.za link?
 
It was local at one point for me, and tends to be local for me when I get capped. But other than that, it' international for me now. But yeah. When I get capped, changes :3 Google is still local for me regardless though :p

Edit: I just love being able to watch videos knowing that I have 30GB's of local bandwidth <3 Least thats one good thing to look forward to if I get capped.

Yeah and you get to play games online that dont require login like cod4...
 
Been a long lover of YouTube & actually learnt a bit to play banjo & harmonica from their tutorials.............just hope our local clowns like, Simpleson, Jeremy, Micky naicker, etc dont flood the SA Youtube with their crap!

Oh thats nice :o Never really played much cod4 though. Got Mw2 now. But ever since that damn stim package and the other one, I haven't felt like waiting to update lol x-x And I really do wanna play on those new maps. But Im not about to pay for some old maps that I got for free on cod4 -.- But anyways. I'll play it again one day :p
