I'm so sorry—love, backstreetboy. God forgive me.

Ads make huge portions of the internet free to use while still letting creators be supported by those ads. However, there are ad blockers out there, and YouTube is now testing blocking users who have an ad blocker enabled.

A Redditor first spotted earlier this week that, on trying to use YouTube.com, a pop-up appeared saying that ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube. Videos were blocked from streaming unless the user then allowed YouTube ads or signed up for YouTube Premium, the subscription service that allows users to watch content on YouTube without ads.

As long as https://sponsor.ajay.app/ still works, then I'll be happy. Nothing worse than "But first a word from our sponsor, Express VPN"
That's what I appreciate from LTT. Their segways as they call them are about 10 seconds so double tap on screen and video goes on as usual.

Most Youtubers can ramble far too long on behalf of their sponsor.

Well it is their main source of income, so makes sense they will try be more aggressive. Sadly I think the sponsorship thing has gotten out of hand as well and even those who pay for the service still have to watch the sponsor crap. It's also they same sponsor for every freaking video.... SQUARES PACE... VOETSEK!

Search for and install the extension:
SponsorBlock for YouTube
That, along with Brave browser makes YT advert free, including in-video sponsors. (If the segment with the sponsor rambling is not skipped, you can submit the section yourself for others)

I use Firefox because I don't want a browser monopoly.

Been using it forever too, before Chrome was a thing.

still trying to find a good alternative to Vanced, one where I can import/Sign in to my YT Subscriptions and automatically skips ads,

tried a bunch of them, Libretube, Newpipe, Revanced (over-complicated setup) skytube, webtube,

none of them work quite as well as Vanced used to work.

It's called YouTube premium. You should give it a try
