Youtube Lag When Connecting Bluetooth Headphones

Using a Xiaomi TV stick to watch Youtube on TV. Whenever bluetooth headphones are connected then Youtube starts lagging and buffering, making it unwatchable.

Why would this happen? Can the bluetooth interfere with the wifi perhaps?

Switch your WiFi to 5G, or if you can't do that at least try a different 2.4G channel

It's possible, if your wifi is on 2.4GHz are you able to change to 5/6GHz?

Thanks for the replies. I am not sure. It's happening to my parents at their place and I couldn't fix it while I was visiting. Will have to get someone from the younger generation to go over and try switch it up.

Yip, try 5Ghz for the internet ... bluetooth and wifi 2.4 usually share the same chip ... usually the audio lags
