Yukon Men

I know this might not be everyone's cup of tea but I dig the series. My problem is though that I have now watched to the end of Season 4 and I have nothing else to watch Live below Zero is a bit slow so not really a nice replacement.

Is there anyone else that loves these remote Alaska shows? Any recommendations?

Agreed. Lots of people will disagree with me about this, but watching that dredge actually mine gold is very cool.

Yeah, those dredges are awesome. If you haven't watched "Bering sea gold", give it a try. Losing a bit of steam now, but the first few seasons are great. The way they dive under the ice to vacuum up the dirt is very cool.

Add to that Ice Cold Gold. Not as good as Bering Sea Gold, but still good.

308 mining started from zero and it's taken them a few years to learn how to mine properly. Parker on the other hand had the advantage of years of mentorship under his grandfather, so he started with a better understanding on what was needed, and when he finally stepped out he was given good land by Tony Beets. From my perspective both 308 mining and Parker are mining at roughly the same level now, and it's really just the better ground which is giving Parker the advantage.

All 308 mining need to do is get on better ground next time and i suspect they will be making quite a bit of money.
