Zapper and Stitch team up for scan payments directly from linked bank accounts

Zapper users can now link their bank accounts in its app to pay merchants by scanning a QR code, the company has announced.

The company has added Instant EFT payments using the Stitch LinkPay application programming interface.

Good Lord, it was bad enough when I couldn't get assured correspondence with PayFast and Ozow on whether the login details stayed on device at all times (before their respective rebrandings and user data collection schemas), but this sentence just hurts to read man.

Please, Open Banking API, we need to end risking credit cards, iEFTs, logins etc. online.
