I signed up with zazu at the beginning of the year with their OnePrice deal, I had to wait until the middle of the month before I receive their service, and they still charge me the full amount for their service!

That aside, I was recently billed for extra bandwidth which I used over my cap, which I didn't ask for, and no one from Zazu notifying me neither! I had to call them to find out that they charged me for the amount of bandwidth I used over my cap (remember that I didnt request for extra bandwidth) during my last session just before being capped (i.e. during my last session I used 200mb which went over my cap by 100mb, and its that 100mb they billed me for)

It is not my fault if they don't cap me when I should have being capped!!:mad::mad:

Is this a common practice among the ISP's or is it just Zazu??

no offense but they look extremely dodgy just from there website.

web africa is cheaper with traffic, 1gb shaped R70.

It's most likely a problem between the network access server and their system for AAA system. They probably aren't communicating as often as they should be.

Looking at their pricing, you are being ripped off big time.

and all along i thought zazu was a blue parrot....go figure

I agree with the timing problem...think they only update their usage site once every 4 hours.

I am currently with their OnePrice 3 gig deal for R299 (which inc 384kb ADSL line), I use Zazu for International bandwidth and I have a prepaid WebAfrica for Local. As far as I know Cybersmart is the only other ISP thats cheaper than Zazu when it comes to the 3 gig OnePrice deal (R259). Any other suggestions?

You will still have a problem with Cybersmart WRT exceeding your cap. They often cap at 3.02 gigs and will charge for 4 gigs. If you get an additional gig, 20mb will be deducted from it because you exceeded you original cap. Dodgy business practice...

Dodgy indeed, since 384k is all I need, I think I might actually go with the Telkom Do 2, with 2Gig(4Gig) cap for R259, and as far as I know they dont have this dodgy practice (while Telkom itself is dodge) >_< Gosh I miss the good old days when I use to live overseas!!
