wow, was hard to find this thread, wasn't sure if it still existed, anyway there seems to be a 500 Internal Server Error at this time. I haven't been told anything, but I'm sure zeek knows about it and is working on it, so just hang tight for now.

I've posted a thread in ADSL Discussions.

The problem is on AfriHost's side. After getting the email that they had tried to fix the memory error we've been getting a Internal 500 errror.

I've contacted AfriHost about this and am still waiting for their reply.

It is not in any way a take down.

Hopefully you have a Hit n Run system or policy in place because loads of people simply don't understand what 'share' means.

please could you fix the following in diginova

1)incredible slow download speed I don't get above 5kb.

2) Pirates that are using your announce tracker eg. I uploaded something to Digi to find that other sites are using your announce to help boost there speed on there uploads.

please could you attend to these issues brought to you.

Unfortunately that has to do with the uploader, not the tracker, so we cannot really help on that (as much as we wish we could).

That will come to a stop this weekend when we implement the passkey system (like what Bitfarm uses).

I do understand that 384 lines are slow but this is happening to people with 4Mb lines what i mean is both have both 4mg lines

and im finding connectible errors after the file has been checked and has been seeding for a while.

we enjoy good speeds on gower and good content the majority of the content on digi***** is stuff available on Tucows
and regarding the speed im lucky to get over 5 kbs download speed that is understandable that there is only a few tv shows and movies available to download.

Also to go through the painfully process of port forwarding to enable me to download is extremely annoying .

With your previous post, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and considered it as constructive criticism, and replied accordingly, but now you are proving that you were only trying to use it to troll this thread YET AGAIN. And you are wondering why iPirate was telling you to to go to your own thread? Get a life and stop trying to troll.

It is the truth.......

prove me wrong please, It has been like this from when you re lunched there site.

I have never had to port forward on Bitfarm, Gower or Ninjacentral
and I get decent speeds that's the truth.

hey anyone on those three four sites do your own test

1) choose a torrent to download with 1 seed.

2) download

3) after ten minutes write down the speed you have

and oh ya make sure they have the same line.

Elitist = H&R's = crappy speed = crappy site = free sign ups

Thats all that I saw.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it matters more for the uploader to have port forwarding than the downloader right?

Correct. The reason for port forwarding is uploading. If you do not bother with port forwarding, then your uploads will suffer, causing you to get a bad ratio, which usually have consequences in the local trackers.

How come i never had to port forward, with ether BF or Zee.za?? never had a problem

As I see it, if you use PPoE you don't need to PF , if you don't use PPoE, but rather bridged mode, then you use PF because every time you restart your router the ip address will change.
As you used BF and Zee as examples and Zee is no more, I recommend BF's guide, "Port Forwarding for noobs" as reading material, where they explain it much better and if I remember correctly, advise it strongly.

:)
