Hi guys.

My new flat still has that ancient Zellweger Ripple control box responsible for the geyser. It seems to have kicked the bucket. But what I do know, is that I have no hot water, even with my geyser breaker switched on at the DB. Looking at the control box, there's a white lever, indicating that it is disconnected or connected. Currently, it is disconnected.

I had asked the body corporate previously to look at this, and the caretaker had "reset" it, but I don't think they reset it, but I think it reset itself.
Is the Tshwane municipality still using ripple control?

No idea, but if you push the white lever up and stick something underneath it to hold it up it should supply power to the geyser. On mine I found that a piece of clothes peg just fits perfectly.
