Firm's expansion plan aims to increase volume and enter the US market
Supercar maker Zenvo is working on a hybrid successor to its 1177bhp TSR-S that will arrive within the next two years and will be key to plans to dramatically grow its production output.
The Danish company was founded in 2004, initially producing the 1089bhp ST1. Having built just 15 examples of that car between 2009 and 2016, it followed up with the TS1 GT and then the track-only TSR. The TSR-S, which made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed recently, is a road-legal version of the latter. Each Zenvo model costs up to £1.3 million.
The TSR-S is powered by a twin-supercharged 5.8-litre V8, which allows for a 0-62mph sprint in 2.8sec and a top speed of 202mph. The supercar also features active aerodynamics, including Zenvo’s unique ‘centripetal’ tilting rear wing.
Zenvo is already working on another model that will share the platform of the TSR-S. Product director Alberto Solera told Autocar that the main objective for the new car is to create maximum “smiles per mile”. While he wouldn’t discuss specifics, Solera did say that the team – which also includes former Alfa Romeo designer Christian Brandt – is working intensively on the new model.

Zenvo Automotive will reveal a completely new, clean-sheet V12 hybrid hypercar next year, one capable of revving to 10,000rpm.
The design has been kept a secret and shown only to prospective customers ahead of its public debut in 2023. Commercial boss Jens Sverdrup told TopGear.com the hypercar will feature a brand-new modular carbon fibre chassis, a new gearbox, new modular V12 engine and electric drivetrain all designed and built in-house.
The engine will feature twin electric turbochargers – and ‘massive’ preheated cats sat on top – that alone is capable of producing 1,200bhp. Zenvo is targeting north of 1,500bhp and up to 1,800bhp, although Sverdrup insists they’re not building ‘numbers cars’ but ones that deliver “smiles per mile”. The engine will be mated to an electric motor and eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Two versions of the new project are being planned. One will be a GT-style hybrid that could potentially feature an electric motor on the front axle for four-wheel-drive, although that's still up for discussion. The second car will be more track-focused – though still road-legal – featuring considerable downforce. In its lightest spec, the new Zenvo is targeting a weight of just 1,250kg.

Just three examples of the hypercar will be made – and they've already been sold
Zenvo has launched an ultra-exclusive grand tourer that features significantly upgraded performance, an aerodynamic, streamlined design and a more luxurious interior than that of the firm's 'standard' TSR hypercar.
The Zenvo TSR-GT, which is limited to just three examples that have already been sold, is the final model to use the firm’s TS platform. Zenvo says it features a low-drag design with improved dynamics and a higher top speed than the standard Zenvo TSR.
Behind the driver is a 5.8-litre flat-plane V8 engine with twin superchargers, equipped with a new performance pack that includes upgrades to the transmission, power unit and exhaust manifold. Zenvo also says the racer can run on high-ethanol E85 fuel.
The changes increase the power output to 1360bhp - 183bhp more than the standard TSR. Top speed also jumps from 202mph to a staggering 263mph (limited), owing in part to a longer spoiler and new aerodynamic wheel discs, both made from carbonfibre.
That puts the Danish hypercar ahead of the Rimac Nevera, officially the world's fastest electric production car (258mph), but just behind the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ (limited to 273mph) in terms of top speed.
Inside, the TSR-GT gains leather trim, which replaces other materials around the cabin. The Alcantara steering wheel, dashboard and seat trim are all swapped for leather alternatives, with noise-reducing, leather-edged floor mats.

Just three of these will be built as a last hurrah before an all *new* Zenvo arrives
This is a new Zenvo that marks the end of an old journey. It’s called the TSR-GT, built on the TS platform and limited to just three models worldwide. Of which all three have of course been sold.
It is also the last Zenvo to be produced on this platform before the company comes in with something shiny and new next year. More on that later, because there’s the small matter of a large rear wing to discuss.
That’s part of a new aerodynamic pack built to make this TSR a ‘low-drag’ version. The “elongated” rear spoiler sits atop a subtly redesigned body and “a new type of aero wheel disc” – all fashioned out of carbon fibre and made in Denmark – in order to help the TSR-GT hit a top speed of 263mph.

424km/h, 1014kW: Zenvo TSR-GT is one hardcore hypercar
Danish hypercar maker Zenvo has whipped the covers off the final and most hardcore version of its TS series.
To say that the Zenvo TSR-GT is ultra exclusive would be the understatement of the century, as only three will ever be produced and they’ve already been allocated to customers. Pricing hasn’t been officially mentioned, but it no doubt commanded a premium over the €1.5 million (R27 million) price tag of the humbler TS1.
To describe this hypercar as hardcore is probably an understatement too. Powered by an enhanced version of the 5.8-litre twin-supercharged engine that does service in the TSR-S, the GT thumps out 1014kW and is said to be capable of 424km/h, making it one of the fastest cars on the planet. Just where on earth you could test that theory safely is another matter. For the record, the Zenvo S is good for 878kW and a 325km/h top speed.
Zenvo’s inhouse powertrain team improved the volumetric efficiency of the engine through upgraded inlet plenum and exhaust manifold, and also installed a fuel-flex sensor that allows it to run on high-ethanol E85 fuel.

Get ready for the Zenvo Aurora. The Danish carmaker – now run by a former Koenigsegg director – has revealed the name of its next-generation hypercar that’ll feature a socking great V12 able to rev to 10,000rpm.
So, get your ears ready for the new Zenvo Aurora, which will deploy a new ‘modular’ carbon chassis. Today’s announcement was a brief introduction to the car’s name and vitals, but boss Jens Sverdup has already exclusively laid out his plans to TopGear.com.

Zenvo has revealed details of its long-awaited V12-powered hybrid hypercar, which features a bespoke gearbox, over 1000bhp and a top speed within touching distance of 250mph.
Limited to just 100 models, 30% of which have now been reserved, the Zenvo Aurora is the successor to the Zenvo TSR-S road-going track car and is part of the firm’s ten-year plan to dramatically grow its production output and become a leading global supercar manufacturer.
Set to be fully unveiled in August this year, the Aurora will be driven by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12. It will likely exceed the output of the 1177bhp TSR-S, which was revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2021.
While no images of the car have been shared, two specification levels of Agil (Agile) and Tur (Tour) will be available. Agil represents a stripped-back, track-focused edition and Tur a road-going edition for long-distance work.

They are planning to build 100 units of the Aurora and 30 percent of this run has already been spoken for.
Powering the hypercar will be a twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 which will reach speeds of more than 249 mph (if you opt for the Tur variant). The Agil version will have a more aggressive body and track-focused tuning.
According to a previous report, the engine would have two electric turbochargers. The output of just the engine would allegedly be 1,200 horsepower, and the hybrid system’s electric motor would boost the total figure to 1,800 hp.
