Zhone ONT Major Alarm?

The Alarm light on my ONT went steady red this afternoon after my connection was fine. Have rebooted the ONT and router twice.

Anyone know what this Major Alarm could mean? I've logged the issue with Cool Ideas.

Need to know if I should escalate to Vumatel if this could be a carrier issue

very likely that the feeder cable is broken, report to your ISP who in turn will report to Vuma.
