`I have 2 of the X9S models. I've had them 2 years now and they replaced my DSTV decoders. They work great. One has a 1Tb SATA drive plugged in and shared on my home network. The second one is in my bedroom, connected by a lan cable to my router. It also acts as a wifi AP. Both run Cyberflix, ADM, Series Link and YouTube.

So the Z9S has been out a few months now. There is no way I could afford the X20, but I am wanting to upgrade at least on of my boxes. At under R3k to my door with duty and vat, it's definitely a "want to have". I'll have no problems selling the X9S off.

The Zidoo boxes are not Google certified so unlikely Netflix and Showmax/DSTV work on them. These devices run OpenWRT (for the NAS functionality) in parallel with Android so they are flagged as "rooted".
