Zim dying while leaders squabble - SA

Jeepers our Government is slow on the uptake.
Where have they been for the last decade? Sleeping!:p

I could write a whole page here as to ifs and why nots and maybe we should have or should not have, but too little too late I am afraid.
The damage that has been caused in Zimbabwe will take decades to repair if ever and we as taxpayers here in South Africa are going to be forking the bill to prop up the Banana Republic next door for decades to come, as if we don't have enough financial stress as it is.

Is the change of heart from Government all about next years election?
Suddenly they say and attempt to do something. It is too late!!

I think it's pathetic the way the African leaders have pandered to comrade Bob MuGarbage treating him like royalty at all these summits while showing the West the middle finger at their demands for MuGarbage to be held accountable, but guess what, they will be looking mainly to the West for handouts for the starving masses in Zim 1.0

The bell rings and they are out for round 47 ..

President Kgalema Motlanthe said that Zimbabwe's rival political leaders will meet in South Africa on Tuesday in the latest bid to salvage a troubled power-sharing deal.

"The facilitation team is ready to meet them as from tomorrow," Motlanthe told reporters on Monday.

Motlanthe did not provide details of the meeting, but said that the talks would focus on control of the home affairs ministry, which runs the police.

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai signed a power-sharing deal on September 15, but efforts to form a unity government have bogged down over disputes about control of key cabinet posts.

The facilitation team is headed by former president Thabo Mbeki, who brokered the unity deal.

Could have sworn they did this two weeks ago.

Zim died a few years ago.

The only "life" we see in Zim is the african parasites feeding on the decaying corspe of a country...

Mugabe's tactics:

:001 Agree to powersharing talks
:002 Break down Powersharing talks
:003 Profit!
:004 Goto :001

Who's the idiot here? Surely NOT Mugabe.
