Zimbabwe bans bulk buying

Bob is an idiot, no matter what your political view point on anything is, unless your view point is that only the very top members of the government should have or are part of that very top part of bobs government, their is no way you can realisticly deny that.

Bob has clearly demonstrated that he only cares about himself and his few chronies. Getting to the topic, it is really sad that a country as rich and vibrant as Zimbabwe used to be and is cabaple of being has been reduced to this.

Wether they are right or not to limit bulk buying I can't say, as I don't know enough about those aspects to comment. I can't really see it being a bad idea, there could be factors I don't see.

Its treating the symptom rather than the cause. Either way they're going to run out of goods pretty soon, this is just an attempt to shift the blame.

"incapable of doing anything right because of their race"
is far from
incapable of doing most things right as a political party.

If a political party choses to defines themselves with corruption and irresponsibility it is not racist if a person were to comment on the corruption and irresponsibility and someone were to misconstrue the true intent and draw conclusions based on the ethnic group represented by such a political party.

In most economies, bulk buying (Christmas) boosts the economy. Some companies make their profit for the year in that one month while making a loss for the next 11 months.

Oh, thats what I was trying to say or going to say in some round about way. Not to sure on the shifting blame but that is typical poor leadership tatics.

Sometimes though you need to deal with the symptoms, so you can then deal with the cause. In this case though, would need to replace the rot at the top then work on managing the symptoms with the cause is healed too.

What I wonder is if Mugabe knows he is postponing the end, or if he really thinks his actions are beneficial. His actions is only further tearing down the economy.
