This seems rather odd considering Malema's recent visit to Zimabwe, and I cannot verify whether this has actually happened, other than to attest that I have read the SMS (in Afrikaans) sent to a friend from a client of theirs.
The SMS, translated, basically said the following:
This South African guy's family, (parents, two brothers & their wives, and seven grandchildren), all live on a massive farm in Zimbabwe. Last night the drums started and they were told they have about four hours to vacate the premises. The farm is a large concern with millions of Rands worth of livestock. Within an hour the homestead was surrounded by black people. They threw stones at the windows, breaking many of them. Our friend hasn't heard from his family, is quite distraught, and doesn't whether his family is alive, or dead.
