Yup, I've been. Just an overnight stay, but it was really nice. The girlfriend is a tour operator, and she sells space there more regularly than anywhere else, based on personal experience. Been to other places, and it is really decent compared to others. If you looking for a good holiday, tour operators are a good idea. They've been to 90% of the places they sell you.

What do you want out of it or what are your expectations?

In general I don't like the entire Zimbali thing but that's probably just because of bad golf I played there and the exorbitant prices.

Its awesome! Saw the current specials, not bad 3k for 3 days, its a good deal.

It's an awesome spot. Played golf there quite a few times and stayed over there once for a bachelors. R3k for 3 nights is a good deal there and well worth it...

I don't know about R3K for 3 nights. A lot of travel agencies/tour operators listed it as a special and the best one I saw, is Flight Centre that offers return flights, 2 nights at the resort and car hire (all for 2 people) at a total cost of R5k.

If you looking for a holiday there, check out Zimbali.org. It's her companies portal to Zimbali. Specify that you want Jenna to deal with it please. She will organise everything, from flights, to transfers, meals etc. They also got some nice package deals, which I recommend. The Zimbali/Thanda one rocks, I promise. Once you've been to Thanda, then very little will compare. If you take the deal for Thanda, ask to do Thanda second. It's worth it.
